The railway industry plays an essential role in sustainable mobility concepts. With sales of 11.7 billion euros and 53,700 employees in Germany (BMWK 2022), the rail industry contributes significantly to the three megatrends of the mobility field: climate change, population growth and digitalization.
We make our contribution by working on innovative rail projects and new developments in public transport. With our know-how and systems engineering methods, we support our customers in achieving their goals. At the same time, we act as an active partner in the MBPLE4Mobility research project. Funded by the BMWK, the project is helping to reduce CO2 emissions in rail transport through energy-efficient braking and utilization of resources.
